Refund & returns policy

At Ability Plus, we take pride in offering high-quality products and service. We follow the Consumer Rights Act and always aim to resolve issues fairly and quickly.

In addition to your legal rights, we offer the following policy for added peace of mind:


Returns & exchanges (in-Store)

  • You may return items to any of our showrooms within 7 days of purchase for a credit note or exchange of equal value.

  • A valid till receipt is required.

  • Returned items must be:

    • Unused and in original condition

    • Complete with all parts and packaging

    • Free from damage or signs of use

Please note: A restocking or repair fee starting from 35% may be applied if items are not returned in their original condition.


Items not eligible for return

To protect customers and ensure safety, we are unable to accept returns on:

  • Custom-made or special-order items

  • Clearance, sale or discounted products

  • Hygiene items (e.g. toileting or personal care aids)

  • Batteries (unless faulty)


Online & telephone orders 

If you purchased online or by phone, you have a right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

  • You must notify us within 14 days of receiving your goods (via email or post).

  • Goods must be returned within 14 days of notification.

  • Returns must be in original, unused condition and packaging.

  • Return postage is at your expense (unless the item is faulty).

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the return.

We recommend using a tracked courier service for returns.


Additional information

  • All goods remain the property of Ability Outlet Limited T/A Ability Plus until paid for in full.

  • Goods or repairs that are paid for but not collected or delivered within three months may be disposed of, unless special arrangements have been agreed in writing.
